what week is this?

Oh that's right, its Thanksgiving week. In honor of Thanksgiving, I wanted to open up this post for a chance for all of us to say what we are thankful for.

I'll start.

I am thankful for finally being in a place after 2 years where I feel God is leading me.
I am thankful to be with my family after being at school for a while.
I am thankful for my friends whom I have gotten to spend some serious ammounts of time with lately. Its been awesome.

If you want, you may join in on the comments section. I know its alittle cheesy but I think its important to stop and take stock in what we are thankful for.

peace out,
hersch

I'm thankful for my wife. And friends like Herschel. And Matthew Chapter 1.

I'm thankful for my family and friends, that I'm, for the most part, healthy. Most of all, though, I think I'm thankful for Grace.

I'm thankful for a gracious God who pursues us no matter where we're at.

I'm thankful for the Body of Christ and how we can all still be connected even though we're miles apart (which is the reason why I enjoy reading your blog...even though we're not the closest of buddies).

I'm thankful for friends and a family.

I'm also thankful for getting to play Madden 07 on Wii with other college guys on our thanksgiving break...
...definitely the most fun I've ever had playing a video game...

I'm thankful for a love that never fails - thank you Jesus.
I'm thankful for an awesome family.
I'm thankful for great friends.
I'm thankful for a job even when it's hard it's still a job I love everyday.

I have much to be thankful for, including being an absolute stud, a person of superior intellect, and a man of great humbleness, so thanks God, for making me like you did. You really do good work.

Seriously, though, I'm thankful for people, passion, and God's provision.

By the way, Hersch, that isn't the kind of turkey people tend to think of this time of year. It's witty, though.

Oh Hersch, no kidding. The whole map of Turkey, the country, as a word-play on the turkey people eat at Thanksgiving...it's great.

I hope I see you soon.

I'm thankful for the Body of Christ...and for the opportunity God gives each of us to be His hands and feet.

I'm thankful for my beautiful little home and for the family and friends with whom I shared its comfort on Thanksgiving Day.

I'm thankful for a God who knows me personally, who has given me a "name" that only He could give (I'll be blogging about this sometime soon) and who is revealing that name to me in HIS time, not mine.

I'm thankful for these ugly blue post-surgery shoes that have protected my feet for the past 3 weeks, online shopping, and leftover turkey and pumpkin pie.
